Cincinnati Salsa Festival 2008

Media Latina, L.L.C., is bringing the very first Salsa Festival to the Cincinnati area!
Are you ready for a weekend of Salsa, Salsa, Salsa? That’s right, Media Latina, L.L.C., will be hosting Cincinnati’s very first Salsa Festival that will take place at the beautiful Sawyer Point Park cresting the Ohio River on Saturday, September 6, 2008 from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

This weekend has worked out to be a great Cincinnati / Chicago celebration. The weekend will be starting off with workshops and a Pre-Party at Step’n Out Studio in Covington, KY on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM featuring “Angel Ortiz” from New York and “DJ Lexus” from Chicago. On Saturday, September 6, 2008 the Cincinnati Salsa Festival will be bringing Chicago’s talented dancers from “The Dance Academy of Salsa” and musicians such as “The Chicago Mambo All Stars”. Then, the Cincinnati Reds playing the Chicago Cubs from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM, and closing the festival will be legendary salsa headliner “Lalo Rodriguez”, a three time Grammy winner.

That’s not all, following the festival will be an After-Party held at the Terrace Hotel from 11:00 PM – 3:00 AM featuring two Live bands, “The Chicago Mambo All Stars” and “Son Del Caribe”.

The Cincinnati Salsa Festival is guaranteed to be a fully packed event with thousands of spectators enjoying the attempt to have the largest Salsa Class in “The Guinness Book of World Record.”
