If you are comfortable working with money and interacting with the public, a position as a bank teller may be just right for you. PNC tellers assist customers with over-the-counter transactions such as check cashing, deposits, loan payments, and withdrawals. At times tellers must also act as customer service representatives, explaining various types of accounts and financial services available and referring customers to more experienced bank employees.

In order to succeed as a teller, you must have strong communications skills, cash handling or customer service experience. You should also possess intermediate computer skills and be willing to promote financial services to bank customers.
