Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and lead growth initiatives for Specialty Tape Division’s HVAC / Industrial Insulation business. Act as front-line contact in building strategic relationships with key HVAC / Industrial Insulation wholesalers, distributors, and other value chain influencers to drive market and new products to closure in line with segment priorities.
  • Identify and lead programs to grow HVAC / Industrial Insulation Business. Generate ideas, complete market analyses, and lead priority commercialization programs with cross-functional teams (Sales, Technical, Finance, Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, etc.).
  • Work throughout the value chain to identify unmet needs where Specialty Tape Division can add value to current / targeted customers.
  • Represent Specialty Tape Division with key industry contacts; create and grow strong partnerships to drive growth.
  • Develop and lead Opportunity Analysis / H2 market / product development programs. Lead / participate in H1 Fast Breakthrough Teams, as required.
  • Analyze key market trends, drivers, and opportunities for Specialty Tape Division in HVAC / Industrial Insulation market.
  • As a key member of HVAC / Industrial Insulation business team, participate in establishing priority programs for the business segment.
  • Represent FASSON brand in key Industry forums and develop tools (web-seminars, etc.) to establish presence for the segment as solution-provider to the HVAC / Industrial Insulation industry.
  • Responsible for the effective alignment of business functional areas supporting the HVAC / Industrial Insulation growth strategy.
  • Scan external Technology environment for strategic alliances, business opportunities, joint ventures and new growth ideation.
  • Develop contacts and relationships, which will strengthen brand awareness.
  • Support and influence the development of a Customer Segmentation Plan. This includes their identification and justification. Also, support Large Account Strategies for specific, targeted direct customers of Specialty Tape Division.
  • Develop and implement strategic account business plans to profitably grow Specialty Tape Division’s share and revenue at assigned accounts.
  • Manage Manufacturing Representative’s in HVAC/ Industrial Insulation segment.

Key Deliverables:

  • Deliver Top Line Revenue Plan within the HVAC Business:
  • Deliver target HVAC sales growth of 5.4% in 2008
  • Deliver target Net Income growth of 6.6% in 2008

Execute Industrial Insulation Launch:

  • Capture 64% revenue growth in 2008
  • Complete Manufacture’s representative search in strategic territories
  • Target national Industrial Insulation accounts

Position Requirements:

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, engineering, science or finance.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Excellent financial skills, analytical skills, and business acumen.
  • Strong understanding of market and territory analysis and planning, and territory business management.
  • Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of management on complex business issues.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Strong understanding of product and technical information.
  • Excellent customer service, oral, written and presentation skills.

EXPERIENCE Preferred:
5 -7 years in Industrial Insulation tape business development or sales

Travel: Min 25 %
